COVID-19: Information for our buyers, developers and partners
The following information is current as at Friday 27 March 2020.
Our priority at KiwiBuild is the safety and wellbeing of our people, buyers, builders, developers and communities.
During the Level 4 Alert period all KiwiBuild and Kāinga Ora offices will be closed and teams will be working remotely.

We know that many of our homeowners, potential buyers and partners may have questions during this time.
If you want the latest information on COVID-19, please visit covid19.govt.nz. HealthLine is also available on 0800 358 5453. There may be a wait time due to high call volumes, so please be patient.

If you have questions about your KiwiBuild home, contact the KiwiBuild Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have recently purchased a KiwiBuild home and want more information regarding your purchase during the COVID-19 Level 4 Alert lock-down, please get in touch with your solicitor or the developer. They will have the most specific information relevant to your Sale and Purchase Agreement.
If your financial circumstances have been affected by COVID-19 there is a range of support available:
- The government has announced a mortgage holiday scheme for those affected by COVID-19. Your bank will have information about this scheme and you should contact them for advice.
- Work and Income may be able to provide you with financial support. To find out what help is available, visit the Work and Income website or call the Work and Income helpline on 0800 779 997 (8am – 1am, seven days a week).
