COVID-19: Information for our buyers, developers and partners

Our priority at KiwiBuild is the safety and wellbeing of our people, buyers, builders, developers and communities.
During COVID-19 Alert Level 2 some KiwiBuild and Kāinga Ora offices may be able to open, and teams will continue to work remotely and onsite when safe to do so.

We know that many of our homeowners, potential buyers and partners may have questions during this time.

If you have recently purchased a KiwiBuild home and want more information regarding your purchase during COVID-19 Alert Level 2, please get in touch with your solicitor or the developer. They will have the specific information most relevant to your Sale and Purchase Agreement.
If your financial circumstances have been affected by COVID-19 there is a range of support available:
- The government has announced a mortgage holiday scheme for those affected by COVID-19. Your bank will have information about this scheme, and you should contact them for advice.
- Work and Income may be able to provide you with financial support. To find out what help is available, visit the Work and Income website or call the Work and Income helpline on 0800 779 997 (8am – 1am, seven days a week).
