Auckland is currently at Level 2. The rest of New Zealand is at Alert Level 1.
The Ministry of Health is recommending that you continue to follow public health advice: wash your hands, keep physically distant, cover your face, and to record your movements in the COVID-19 app or a travel diary.
Physical distancing restrictions are not required but face coverings are compulsory on public transport, including buses, trains, ferries, planes, taxis, and drive-share services like Uber. A bandana or a scarf can be used if you do not have a mask.
People at high risk from COVID-19 are encouraged to stay home.
If you have symptoms please stay home, call your doctor or Healthline for advice and get tested if you are advised to do so. Your GP will test you for free. If a health official asks you to get tested or self-isolate please do so.
The latest information is now available on the Government’s COVID-19 website.
